The universe is eternal.

It can be eternal and long lasting, because they do not exist for itself, and for this reason can long endure.

In the same way those Enlighteded Individuals choose to remain behind,but always find themselves foremost.

Put themselves beyond their ego,

and yet they remain safe and secure.

It is only because they go beyond their egoism

that they stay permanent with the Energy of Pure Consciousness.

第七章   天長地久

天長地久。天地所以能長且久者，以其不自生，故能長生。
是以圣人后其身而身先，外其身而身存。 非以其無私邪？故能成其私。

[譯文]

宇宙時空場永恒無限。宇宙時空場之所以可以長久永恒，是因為它們沒有生命的循環(huán)，才可以長久。所以，真正悟道的人將大眾的利益置于其個人利益之上，才可以獲得大眾的擁戴。超越自我物質(zhì)存在，才可以作為一個純宇宙意識能粒子與宇宙本體永存。

正是他超越了物質(zhì)自我，才成就了他與純宇宙意識能本體永存。
